Samsung Galaxy Ace. If Galaxy S wooed you very much but you don’t have enough cash to fetch it, well, Samsung has an option for you.
This mobile can be termed as mini Galaxy S. It inhibits the same design as its mighty predecessor. Here is a short review of it.
When it comes to design, it looks (as already mentioned above) like a small sibling of Galaxy S and Galaxy S2. But its display size and design makes it superior to other competing phones like LG Optimus One and HTC Wildfire S.
Screen: 3.5″ TFT LCD screen display. In today’s world when LED and AMOLED screens are ruling the market. This screen does not offer you that contrast and live feel. The plus point is Gorilla Glass making it scratch resistant and multi-touch display. The resolution 320 x 480 isn’t too bad at this price.
Inside: The Galaxy Ace is powered by Qualcomm 800MHz processor making its user interface swift. Of course, this piece is not for those hard core mobile gamers expecting high end graphics and performance.
Camera: The Ace has a 5 Mega Pixel Camera with a LED Flash. It can capture videos in 480p but nothing more than that.
Music: Just one speaker at back make its table sound really boring and quiet. But the Ace do offer a 3.5 mm jack for easy listening though the headphones provided with the cell ain’t of superior quality.
Connectivity: It is a 3G phone and supports HSDPA network and speeds upto 7.2 Mbps. The device include WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, Digital Compass as expected by any of the phone in this range.
OS: Samsung Galaxy Ace is powered by Google Android 2.2 Froyo Operating System which can be officially upgraded to v2.3 Gingerbread. Samsung’s TouchWiz UI enhances the work flow making it more user friendly and responsive.
Colours: This model is available in two colours which are BLACK and WHITE.
eTechTrend’s Words: The Samsung Galaxy Ace is a phone for a geek. For one who does not give Music, Videos and other multimedia features a prime importance. It do help you to navigate to your destination, checking emails, social networking to extreme. But if you are a music freak or want to show off, this phone won’t help you much(personal view). Samsung is going to launch an upgraded version of this phone, Samsung Galaxy Gio. We suggest you to wait of it.
